Touch the Stars

If I could touch the stars
But not touch your heart
How empty that would be

If I could reach the sky
But never reach your love
How pointless life would be

What a surprise - you live in me
The sky and stars have come down

You live on high
You’re in my heart
Heaven invades
Every part

I’ve touched heaven
& heaven’s touched me
I’ve reached your heart
’cause you live in me

I have reached the stars
And I have reached your love
Because you reached out first
And you touched me
